Eau Claire Half Marathon
Racers will pick up their race bib & shirt Saturday, April 26 from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM at The Eau Claire Marathon Expo presented by Stifel located at The Sonnentag Center along the beautiful Chippewa River in Eau Claire, WI. All registered participants must attend the Expo to pick-up race bib & shirt. The Eau Claire Marathon Expo presented by Stifel is FREE and welcome to all.
Packet Pick-Up Hours:
Expo & Packet-Pickup: Saturday, April 26: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM (The Sonnentag Center)
Packet-Pickup Only: Sunday, April 27: 6:00 AM – 8:30 AM (Phoenix Park) This option is limited and must be selected at time of registration.

Get in Gear Medtronic Half Marathon
Medtronic Half Marathon participants will be able to check their gear in the Gear Check Drop-off Area located in the main Saint Paul Cathedral Parking Lot (235 Summit Ave) beginning at 7:30 AM until 8:45 AM. These bags will be transported to the Gear Check Area in Minnehaha Regional Park and available for pick-up there beginning at 10:15 AM until Gear Check Pick-up closes at 12:15 PM.
Please take note of the following details related to this free, race-day service:

Personal bags will not be accepted

Clear, plastic bags will be available on race day

Do NOT leave bags unattended on race day at any time

Affix the gear check tag from race bib to the plastic bag using the tie provided at the gear check drop zone

Tie bags securely shut before dropping at the gear check drop zone

Do not check valuables, Twin Cities In Motion is not responsible for lost or stolen items

Gear check opens at 7:30 a.m.

Gear check closes at 11:45 a.m.

We discourage runners and spectators from carrying non-transparent bags at the event at any time

Get in Gear Medtronic Half Marathon
Half Marathon participants will park near the Start Area on Summit Avenue near St. Paul Cathedral (exact location TBA) and be bused back to the parking areas after finishing the half marathon.
Designated Start Area Parking locations will open at 7:30 A.M., and participants are recommended to arrive to the Start Area at least 60-75 minutes in advance of the start if they are picking up their packet on race day and at least 45-60 minutes in advance of the start if they have picked up their packets in advance.
Free buses back to the Start Area will run from the Finish Area at Minnehaha Regional Park beginning at 10:45 A.M., dropping off half marathon participants at designated Start Area Parking locations, with the final bus departing at 12:30 P.M.

Minneapolis/St. Paul and Eau Claire are less than 90 minutes apart on Highway 94. We suggest flying in and out of the MSP Airport.

Friends and family are welcome to come to the race, bring a motivational sign, and watch and cheer on participants! As always, please be respectful of private property and do not enter the race course. Pedestrians are permitted to cross the course at intersections where race officials are present to direct foot traffic. Get in Gear Medtronic Half Marathon
Age group awards will be available for categories of men, women and non-binary athletes placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their age group. Age groups include 8 & under, 9-13, 14-18, 19-24, and continue in five-year increments until the 80+ age group. Athletes registered under “prefer not to disclose” for gender are not eligible for age group awards.
Prize money for the half marathon will be awarded to the top three men, women, and non-binary athletes:, Check back later this winter for more info!
Complimentary entries to next years event will be awarded to the top 3 overall men, women, and non-binary athletes in the Get in Gear 10K and Get in Gear Medtronic Half Marathon. Codes to register for the event will be sent out in December 2025. The alternative standard for a comped entry into the Get in Gear 10K and Get in Gear Medtronic Half Marathon is to have run an 85%+ age-graded performance in the last two years (there are only a limited number of these available). Overall and age group Awards will be presented by Market & Johnson. Top Male and Female will receive $250.
