2024 Race Details
Participants aged 18 and under run at no cost at Twin Cities In Motion events through our TC Kids Run Free program. TCM Members and Donors support the program, the first installment of a larger initiative by nonprofit TCM to make events accessible to all.
Kids can run in either the event’s “grown-up” race(s) or in 1 mile, half a mile and pre-K-dash races held in conjunction with the event.

The Riverplace Municipal parking ramp (30 2nd St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414) is two blocks from the start area and will charge $2 per hour to park.
Plentiful street parking is also available, in addition to various parking ramps in the area:

SP+ Parking - 15 NE 2nd Street

201 2nd St SE Garage - Closer to finish but only .5 from start.

Hennepin Avenue Ramp - Lot #180, across the river, .65 to start, .4 from Festival.

Public parking ramp - Very small but close.

Second and Second Parking Ramp - Last viable option for a ramp within a mile.

There is no virtual event for the Old Dutch Little Chippers Tater Trot.
Friends and family are welcome to come to the race, bring a motivational sign, and watch and cheer on participants! As always, please be respectful of private property and do not enter the race course. Pedestrians are permitted to cross the course at intersections where race officials are present to direct foot traffic.
