10 Mile Registration FAQs

  • By starting the registration process earlier in the year, charity teams will have more time to recruit and engage fundraising runners and fundraising runners themselves will have more time to secure donations.

  • There are 12,000 spots for participants in the 10 Mile.

  • While we cannot say for certain how quickly the 10 Mile will fill up, we recommend registering as soon as possible to secure your spot in the race - doing so will also get you a lower price! If registration does fill up, you can run the 10 Mile by signing up for a charity team or by participating in the Loony Challenge.

  • Yes! The 10 Mile will still be part of our TCM Charity Program. Running for charity is a great way to give back to your community and get a spot in the 10 Mile even after registration fills up. You can register to be a Charity Runner at the 2025 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend starting on March 4, 2025. Learn more here.

  • No. Running for a charity team is just one way to run the Medtronic TC 10 Mile.

  • 1,000 TC 10 Mile spots will be reserved for charity runners.

  • If there is a cause that you are passionate about, but they are not part of the TCM Charity Program, please contact our Development Coordinator, Ashley Ramacher at [email protected].

  • The Twin Cities In Motion Charity Program has an application process for charities to register as a team on Marathon Weekend! If you are a nonprofit or charity organization looking to form a team, please visit our Charity Program page.

    • 0-2,000th registrant: $110

    • 2,001th-7,000th registrant: $115

    • 7,001th+ registrant: $125

  • Yes! You can register for the Loony Challenge when Marathon Weekend events open on March 4, 2025.

  • No, there is not a waiting list. Registration is first-come, first-serve like all of TCM’s events. If general public registration closes there may still be ways to participate via the Charity Program or the TC Loony Challenge.

  • Yes! Registration for all Marathon Weekend races will open Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

  • 2025 TCM Silver and Gold level members can guarantee their spot in the 2025 TC 10 mile or TC Half Marathon for More during an exclusive member-only registration window for the events prior to the public launch on March 4, 2025.
