Do Your Calf-Raises – Your calves provide roughly 50% of force at push-off, so it’s important for runners to have strong calves.
Don’t Miss Twice – You might miss a workout once, but really, really try not to miss twice. For runners, consistency is super important.
Get Help If You Need It – It’s easier to heal an injury that’s been hurting you for a few days than for a few weeks (or months!)
Why not get in gear for Get in Gear in 2025? Minnesota's Annual Rite of Spring features a 5K, 10K and the Medtronic Half Marathon running from the cathedral to Minnehaha Park.
